Seattle folks, save the date – March 14th

I’ll be there…possibly telling you how your beats sound.
Everybody seems to be getting down on this instrumental (shout to Drake especially), but this is the first video I’ve seen over it. Big shout to Brain, Dyme Def, and the whole Soul Gorilla/800LB fam. Gotta love the Kingdome footage at the end. 206 all day.
Sidenote: I’m mad busy this week, semi-sick, and will be headed to Oregon this weekend…so blogging might be at a premium for the next few days. Hold tight…
The homies Y-O and Thurzday came through Sound Session at the end of last year and it’s taken me a minute to post up the video of the full interview. We aired part of the audio a few weeks ago, but here’s the full thing. You can peep the clip above to hear them talk all about their upcoming Love Supreme project (dropping soon!), their possible beef with the Knux, the dreaded ‘hipster’ label, and much more.
If you want to check out the broadcast audio and hear it all more clearly, here’s the audio only:

And if you missed the last time we had U-N-I in the studio, click here. I hope you remember this:
While I always like the songs we play on SNSS (I’m slightly biased), there are certain weeks where I absolutely love the tracks. This was one of those weeks. From Drake to Deep Rooted, Zion I to Nottz, John Legend to Nat King Cole, this was one of my favorite SNSS episodes in a minute.
Plus, we were joined in the studio by a dope up and coming artist from the town, Sol, and played a snippet of an interview we did with TiRon. Be on the lookout for the full version of that interview, which I’ll be posting up later this week. In the meantime, enjoy:

I always liked this little interlude that acted as a nice homage to Dilla and Dwele decided to make some quick visuals for it. “Workin’ On It!”
