Stevie’s on his mid-90’s steez throughout The Cashmere Killer and it’s evident again on the video for “Iverson.”  Large Professor on the beat.  Dope stuff.  Download the project for the freeeeeee right here.

Visuals for the excellent “Hell’s Angels” off Thurz’ equally dope L.A. Riot (side note: RIP Rodney King) project.  BJ’s voice is absolutely ridiculous…does anyone handle harmonies like him these days?

Speaking of Seattle hip-hop, here’s the new video from the homey Wizdom, which features his childhood friend Nate Burleson…and Nate’s amazing shoe collection. Nate’s such a shoe fiend, his rap moniker is actually New Balance…or it was, when he rapped.  I’m not sure if he still gets on the mic, but dude wasn’t bad at all.  That said, his NFL career seems to be going pretty damn well, so I think we’re happy he’s staying focused there.

Pinder heads out to Hawaii (and what also looks like Los Angeles) for the video to “A Learning Game” off his official debut album, Careless.  And while it’s shot fairly similar to Kid Ink’s “Time Of Your Life,” the clip turned out great.  When it comes to Seattle hip-hop, obviously Macklemore is getting a ton of notoriety (and rightly so), but JP is quietly having his own success around the country.  Couldn’t be happier to see him winning right now.  Keep going Pinder!

Not mad at this for a radio single one bit. Hoping Tip has a hit on his hands with this one for the summer, but I doubt it will catch on that well. Radio/Video seems only enamored with 100+ BPM records at this point…

Mitch: The day has finally come villains. Nearly eight months since his last endeavor, Stevie Crooks, quite possibly California’s most underrated/slept on rhyme spitter blesses us with his Cashmere Killer LP hosted by LRG and DJBooth.

One track in and you’ll quickly come to realize this isn’t going to be your average cookie-cutter 2012 release. Taking inspiration from the golden era of hip-hop, each track features a nostalgic 90’s feel to it. The LP consists of 13 ill cuts with the lone guest appearance from Erin Darcel, as well as one #CamoClique approved bonus track.
