Honestly, per capita, Canada…and specifically Toronto…is killing most regions in the US in terms of quality music these days. The Smash Brovaz are comprised of Junia-T and Crooklin and the duo have been releasing dope records all over the place recently. “The Kitchen” is their latest release and should take you back to that classic mid-90’s sound. There’s something semi-Wu-Tang-ish with the Junia’s haunting vinyl crackling beat.

This is my jam right now. Gilbere killed it. Kinda reminds me of a combination between Kanye and Meek in his delivery and content. The super clean visuals take it to the next level too.

SNSS listeners know that we welcomed Thaddeus David, Nacho Picasso, and Avatar Young Blaze in to our studio last week to debut their new “Sir Lancelot” record and now you can download the mp3 for yourself. It’s somewhat of a different sound for Thad, but as you’d suspect with a MC of his caliber, he adapts his flow well for the track. Nacho and Avatar sound at home too, with Nacho’s vocals cutting sharply through the beat and Av’s closing it out with his “scumbag of the year” verse.
