Wack Lyric of the Day, 9-11-08
Posted in Artists, Wack Lyric of the Day on September 11th, 2008 by Hyphen“All the b*tches love me, I need a thick guard/
And if she don’t give head, she’s a nimrod”

“All the b*tches love me, I need a thick guard/
And if she don’t give head, she’s a nimrod”
–Lil’ Wayne, “Do What We Do”
Last minute WLotD for Wednesday:
“I’m f*ckin’ nuts…cashews/
But I’m so DC, like fat shoes”
–Lil’ Wayne, “About All That”
All Wayne WLotD month seems like it’s going to fly by. Let’s stick with The Drought 3 from yesterday:
“Money controls where I go, it is the sail to my boat/
And it’s goin’ down, it’s goin’ down, like there’s a whale in the boat”
–Lil’ Wayne, “Live From The 504”
smh.
I was thinking about skipping today’s WLotD, but Wayne just makes it too easy.
“Ba-rum-pum-pum pum/
And I’m so young, but I’m a giant like fe-fi-fo-fum”
–Lil’ Wayne, “Back On My Grizzly”
As the Ying Yang Twins have repeatedly proven, anytime you drop some nursery rhyme ish, it’s wack.
Ending the first week of the all-Wayne WLotD month:
“Tell that beef I’m Burger King, I represent that Saints sign/
I’m so high, I could paint signs”
–Lil’ Wayne, “Let Us Pray”
He abuses those “I’m so high…” punchlines like crazy.
And WLotD has reached a new low:
“Etcetera, I told ya, I get paid by the letter/
Like: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, z”
–Lil’ Wayne, “Ransom”
This is off the new Drake track that hit the net today. It boggles my mind how much gibberish Wayne spits and how so many people are quick to jock him. You have to hear how wack this is:
Wayne WLotD month rolls on:
“Step into my ring b*tches/
Ding ding b*tches/
Click clack, pow pow, ping ping b*tches”
–Lil’ Wayne, “The American Dream”
Chyea, greatest rapper alive.
Day two of Wayne’s WLotD month features a little something off a newly released atrocity that hit the net last week:
“Boy, you know I’m on my bullsh*t, slip on a banana/
You just such a (?), shootin’ like Bonanza/
Dirty like that hamper/
Boy, you are not a man, you are just Amanda/
I bet that chopper bring em all propaganda/
Come on world, bare with me like a panda”
–Lil’ Wayne, “Guerilla”
Wow. Did they mean to title the song “Gorilla” too? Seeing as how there are repeated references to apes and bananas, and none to anything army related, I’ma go ahead and guess yes. Sigh.
Wayne and Jeezy battled it out last week, but I think we all know there’s only one winner loser here. The undisputed king of wack lyrics is none other than Dwayne Carter. As a prize, Weezy wins a continuous streak of WLotD, possibly for the entire month of September. We’ll see how it goes. First up, a contribution from my Ill Vibes fam:
“And my jewelry is louder than an engine sound/
Big ass rocks like on the ground/
Dirty like socks that on the ground”
–Lil’ Wayne, “Let It Rock”
This is off one of Wayne’s countless guest appearances, Kevin Rudolf’s “Let It Rock.” LOL @ paying this dude a ton of money to drop a wack verse, in hopes that his name alone makes the song a hit. Doesn’t that plan backfire if Wayne has 10 new guest spots a week? Well, I guess it doesn’t backfire for Wayne. He gets syrup money for the next decade. KEEP WACK ALIVE!
Like my man Nphared said yesterday, this battle between Jeezy and Wayne for the WLotD crown is like old school Roger Federer vs. Rafael Nadal. Who will come out on top?
“They love me out in DC, just like go-go/
Said go-go, yeah I said go-go/
See I’m back with Don Cannon, it’s a go-go”
–Young Jeezy, “Circulate”
Does he know he’s supposed to use different words? Dope beat though, even though Cannon’s about the 21928192189 person to flip the sample. Still bangs…and still gibberish.
