Jhene Aiko – Eternal Sunshine (video)
Posted in Artists, Music Videos on April 6th, 2015 by HyphenNew visuals from Jhene from one of my favorite tracks off Souled Out. Not only is it named after one of the best movies of all time, but I also love that she references one of my favorite life philosophies when she sings “the more that I know, I don’t know anything at all.” It’s the same thought sometimes referred to as the Socratic Paradox, essentially stating, a wise man knows that he knows nothing.
If that wasn’t heavy enough, the video reenacts a real life car crash Jhene was in with her daughter and is also dedicated to he older brother, who died last year of a brain tumor. So yeah…not exactly a happy go lucky record, but a dope one.
